About us

Abundant Blessings was established by two foster moms who saw needs going unmet within the foster community. As we grew we realized it was time to get a more accessible space, so we decided to move into a storefront location in April of 2016. Around this time, Nixa's clothing bank "The Eagle's Nest" closed its doors, leaving a need unmet for families in our town. This triggered the expansion of our services from solely foster families, to low income families and children in need within our community.

Our mission is to help parents provide stylish and tasteful attire for the children in their care while respecting the child's need for dignity and self esteem.

We recently launched a mobile unit of our ministry that will travel to outlying rural communities to bring the resources we provide to children who lack transportation to/from our Nixa storefront. More information on this can be found under the "Mobile Unit" tab.

In 2018...

We served 462 children in need

and 208 foster children,

and we gave away over 6,000 items.

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"

-Matthew 19:14 (NIV)
